Also important to note that proof of residence must be issued for a period of at least 6 months.

Výsledok hospodárenia – result of economic activity.

The document must contain information about the results of financial activities for the past calendar year. The taxable income indicated therein must be at least 60 subsistence minimums (as of 15.07.2024 approximately 16500 euros).

You can order such a document only in electronic form through the taxpayer’s electronic account. The document production period is up to 30 calendar days.

If the applicant couldn’t conduct business activities during the entire past calendar year, then it’s necessary to confirm taxable income in the amount of 5 subsistence minimums (as of 15.07.2024 approximately 1400 euros) for each month of having a residence permit.

In case the applicant didn’t have the right to act from the company perspective during the past calendar year, the results of economic activities aren’t provided from the tax office. Instead, you must provide a certificate from bank about money flow (Výpis z účtu), meanwhile the account balance must be at least 30 subsistence minimums (as of 15.07.2024 approximately 8300 euros).

Výpis z osobného účtu za posledné tri mesiace – certificate from personal account movements of last 3 months.

In case registering account in a foreign bank it’s recommended to prepare the document in English since a court translation into Slovak will be needed. The exception are certificates issued in Czech.

In this case, the account balance must be at least 12 subsistence minimums (as of 15.07.2024 approximately 3300 euros).

Account balance must be higher than the specified amount throughout the entire period of consideration of the case by the police.

In case of having insurance with a Slovak company, certificate (Potvrdenie o poistnom vzťahu) must be obtained from your insurance company office in paper form with the stamp and signature of the employee.

If child is insured by a foreign insurance company, the certificate must be received in paper form with the seal and signature of a company employee. Next, this copy must be translated by a court translator into Slovak. The resulting translation will be certified by the translator’s seal. If the registry doesn’t have a translator from the original language of the document, then you can use the services of a court translator in the Czech Republic. In this case, documents translated into Czech will be accepted by the aliens police.

Photos can be made in almost every shopping center or photo studio.

It’s recommended to crop photos measuring 3 x 3,5 cm and attaching to the applicant’s form right away, so when filing a police report, you don’t waste time on that.

Cestovný pas – international passport.

The passport must be valid at the time of documents submission.

Police officer will make a copy of the passport and return it to the applicant.

Potvrdenie o neevidencii platitela – certificate of no social insurance registration.

In the case the company isn’t a payer of social contributions (for example, doesn’t have its own employees), it’s necessary to obtain written confirmation from social insurance about this.
